Environment, Society and Governance
Environment

RRI is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), subscribes to its Driving Responsible Exploration framework, and endeavours to uphold the principles of environmental stewardship as laid out in its related toolkit.
Safety

Having not yet established a field exploration team, RRI refers, when appropriate, to the PDAC Health & Safety e-Toolkit in place of a formal health and safety policy, and ensures that all its contractors do likewise.
When RRI executives visit the field, they endeavour to adhere to the practices described in the PDAC "Exploration Field Guide".
Social

RRI operates in the traditional territories of the Haisla Nation, Skin Tyee Nation, Wet’suwet’en First Nation, Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chiefs, Nee-Tahi-Buhn Indian Band, Witset First Nation and Cheslatta Carrier Nation First Nations, with its closest towns being Houston, Smithers and Burns Lake.
RRI is in constructive communication with all these First Nations, as well as with various service and supplies providers in Smithers.
In 2022 the optionor commissioned an Archaeological Review Report on the property which has been shared with all First Nations. The report recommends the completion of an Archeological Overview Assessment, which RRI will undertake in parallel with its exploration activities.
Governance

RRI is a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and subscribes to its Driving Responsible Exploration framework, in particular, its guidance on good governance.
